Our story begins in the bustling streets of Accra, Ghana, where plastic waste clogs waterways, pollutes the air, and threatens the very fabric of communities. But in the midst of this challenge, we saw opportunity – an opportunity to reimagine waste as a valuable resource and uplift marginalised communities in the process.

Trashy Bags Africa is leading the way in sustainable development in Africa, having collected and recycled over 33 million pieces of plastic waste since 2007.
