Justicia, Bolton

Justicia operates from premises in Bolton town centre and has Greater Manchester’s largest collection of fair trade products. As a social enterprise we’ve been bringing fair trade to the heart of the community in Bolton since 1985. We sell a wide range of Fairtrade food and drink, alongside beautiful, useful and desirable craft and gift items hand made by skilled artisans in the majority world. Our fair trade suppliers help break the poverty cycle and give opportunities for growth and success. We also work with volunteers with additional support needs to nurture their strengths and help them grow in confidence. Our volunteers staff the shop four days a week, and are an invaluable support to our work in our shop, stockroom and at outside events.

We work with dozens of churches and schools to whom we supply goods on a Sale or Return basis and we enjoy attending outside events such as markets and fairs. We give talks to outside groups and support schools by delivering lessons and assemblies about fair trade.

Our customers tell us that our shop is a delight with unique gifts available for special occasions as well as practical items for everyday use.  We also carry a range of eco-friendly, plastic free items and refills of household products.
