Paper Starlights is a UK-based artisan lighting brand, bringing handmade paper star lanterns to homes, shops, events and festive spaces across the country.

Founded in 1996, we work with skilled artisans in India to create our distinctive paper star lanterns using traditional craft techniques, including hand screen-printing and intricate hand-finishing. Many of our stars are made using recycled cotton waste paper and FSC-certified paper, with designs that celebrate colour, pattern and the joy of gathering together.

Our collections are designed to bring atmosphere and wonder to everyday spaces, from Christmas markets and independent shops to weddings, window displays, public buildings and large-scale installations. Each star is flat-packed, reusable and made to be treasured year after year.

As a BAFTS member, ethical sourcing is central to how we work. We value long-term relationships with our suppliers and believe in doing business in a way that supports people, protects traditional skills and respects the planet.
