Founded in 2009, Rainbow Rebel is a family run fair trade fashion wholesaler based in Glastonbury, Somerset. We work closely with small business in India and Nepal to create unique designs in a larger range of inclusive sizes.
We believe in five core values:- Only selling Fair Trade products from businesses we have inspected ourselves to ensure they meet the 10 principles of Fair Trade; Realistic Sizing in more sizes up to a size 32 in ladies and 5XL in men’s; Quality – we regularly meet our suppliers to ensure our design and high standards; Sustainability – to operate as sustainably as possible considering our carbon footprint. Ethical Working – to ensure all our practices are as ethical as possible for example we pay our tailor in advance, to consider all our actions in buying and selling goods and the people / environment it impacts.
We have no order limits or quantities so that smaller business can more easily buy from us and we operate transparently by happily sharing with our customers details of who has made the items they purchase so that they can share this with their own consumers.
