Siesta Crafts

Siesta specialises in unusual and interesting gifts, musical instruments and colourful clothing from all around the world.

The business began in 1983 with a market stall selling handicrafts and jewellery from Mexico and Guatemala. From this small beginning, we have expanded so that we now have a retail outlet in Canterbury and a busy wholesale business supplying goods throughout the UK and Europe. We import directly from a variety of countries worldwide. Originally run by just Chris and Les, now the whole family are on board and are involved in the running of the business.

After many years of trading and travelling, we are proud that we have established long lasting relationships with many suppliers. We have become good friends with many producers and we thoroughly enjoy visiting them on a regular basis and helping to develop new products with them.

We have been members of BAFTS since the 90s and are very proud to be a part of such a wonderful community.
