Silkthreads’ Collection includes hand-painted silk scarves in a gorgeous range of vibrant colours. From the most popular light weight silks to scarves printed with different designs including Celtic, to hand-woven silks and raw silk scarves.

Through Craft Link in Vietnam, we bring you silk and velvet scarves and purses, and Hmong embroidered jewellery as well as raw silk scarves.

The artisans working with the support from Madhya Kalikat Shilpangan, an NGO and member of the WFTO, now produce the bulk of Silkthread’s scarves. These include the hand painted water-effect silk scarves in a range of beautiful rich colours, as well as a range of hand-woven hand-painted silks. We also have silks screen printed with different designs such as animals, floral, mandala or Celtic designs. MKS was created to help artisans access markets and enable them to earn a living whilst supporting traditional craftsmen and women.
