Tiger Mountain

We are Louise and Bernard, and we run Tiger Mountain’s online Fair Trade bazaar. We are also known for being out and about at markets and festivals throughout the UK where we trade under the Priya name.

We are only a small business based in the English Lake District. We don’t have a physical shop, just our online shop and outdoor Priya stalls. Our business started over 12 years ago (having said goodbye to our ‘normal’ jobs), and during this time we’ve built up a wealth of experience in how to buy and sell our goods. We think it’s important to measure against, and learn from, a nationally recognised Fair Trade body. That is why we are members of BAFTS.

We visit India and Nepal at least once a year to source our goods and ensure that they come from reputable producers. Please ask if you have any questions about Fair Trade, we’ll be happy to answer them.
