Lovethatstuff

Lovethatstuff started in 2002 and became a registered not-for-profit company in 2006. We started by finding producer groups on the World Fair Trade Organisation website so that we would feel confident the values were in line with the ten principles of fair trade. We believe in trade helping to alleviate poverty and particularly for the marginalised, being principally women and the differently abled.

We started with Bombolulu Workshops in Kenya and have been buying consistently from them for 22 years, buying mainly brass and silver plated, handmade earrings from collaborative designs. Suryamukhi Handicrafts, who mainly do sewing, supply us with fun oven gloves and aprons, kids bibs, cotton rabbits and dolls. They’re based in Nepal and we’re also supporting them with a period poverty initiative.

We wholesale earrings, crochet accessories, gifts and cards, all of which are well made, generally colourful and fun, with the minimum of packaging possible.
