Fair Trade St Stephens

Fair Trade at St Stephens has been promoting and supporting fair trade for over a decade. The shop began by selling Traidcraft products and now stocks a range from various fair trade suppliers, including many BAFTS members and WFTO-certified producers. 

Fair Trade at St Stephens has a small regular shop at the church and also sells at local markets and events. The primary focus is raising awareness and encouraging ethical consumer choices in the community. This includes working with local schools where pupils run fair trade stalls, running fair trade focused assemblies, and even organizing events such as fashion shows.

Within the church, fair trade is highlighted through services and events, often focusing on producer stories. During conferences a space for prayer and reflection is included for the producer communities.

Fair Trade at St Stephens is passionate about fair trade, and would like to join BAFTS in order to learn, share, and grow within the wider fair trade movement.
